You never know where you'll find Fr. Hoyos. Last weekend he was spotted in Howard County, Maryland, enjoying a traditional Cuban pachanga feast at the home of Enrique Carrillo, a vice president of Chevy Chase Bank. Reflecting to the Washington Post on Chevy Chase's efforts to reach out to the Hispanic community: "It's a good example to other businesses to be closer to the community," says the Rev. José Hoyos, the Colombian-born director of the Spanish Apostolate of the Catholic Diocese of Arlington, whose projects are supported by the bank. "When you have a program that is doing something positive, why not advertise? Why not do propaganda?"
